What’s better than a game of golf? A game of golf with impact that goes beyond the course. On Sept. 17, join General as we tee off at the Broadmoor Public Golf Course for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition and compassion.
This isn’t just another tournament – this is a chance to make a direct difference in the lives of children battling cancer, through the Kids with Cancer Society. Since 2010, General has proudly partnered with the society to provide supportive programs and services for families and kids affected by cancer, alongside our customers.
Where Your Support Goes – Meet Joey
In September 2023, just a few days after he started Kindergarten, Joey was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has been in treatment ever since. Today, Joey is 7 years old and spends his free time playing with his sister, Stevie, building Lego, and imagining wonderful quests where he is a spy who needs to save the day! Joey has always been a sweet, kind, chill little guy since he was a baby.

“When our son was diagnosed at 5 years old our entire world fell apart; it’s hard to describe the utterly lost feeling we felt, my mind instantly forgot about every task I was usually responsible for, I had tunnel vision, and my only focus was helping my son survive. Your support helped us stay afloat while I was unable to fathom leaving my son’s side. Your donations also help our other child receive the therapy she needs to process her brother’s cancer journey; the list goes on. Even something as small as not having to worry about paying for parking constantly while at the hospital truly makes such a difference in our lives. Thank you doesn’t feel like a strong enough word to describe how grateful we are for your help.”
